When I headed out for Natalie and Zack’s wedding a few weeks ago, I knew it was going to rain, but I did not expect the absolute monsoon that appeared on the way there. It was barely 10am and Natalie and I were frantically ordering tents and searching every Target in the area for enough clear umbrellas to cover the whole wedding party. The rain cleared up on our way to the venue, but the skies were still dark while we took photos before the ceremony. The wind picked up so we snapped away as quickly as possible and crossed our fingers, hoping that it would hold out long enough for everyone to stay dry during the ceremony – and then actual magic happened. The clouds disappeared and from the start of the ceremony on, it was the warmest, brightest, sunniest day we’d had in weeks. It was such a joyous day and I truly cannot express how much love and happiness I wish for these two (and their son Troy!) in their future.
