BRIAN SWINDLE + CHASE HUGLIN ACOUSTIC TOUR

I have been to Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh no less than 40 times in my life and I truly had no idea that there was a tiny theater upstairs. The stage is just a few inches off of the floor and the backdrop is made by a thin black curtain covering twinkling lights. I went to see Brian Swindle of Have Mercy play a show on his short acoustic tour and had the most relaxing evening, which is fairly uncommon in my experience of attending shows. People sat on the floor in front of the stage and chatted back and forth with the musicians as they sat on a bar stool. The wonderful Colourshow, one of my favorite local bands, even opened the show. It was so sparkly and soothing and just nice. Enjoy the photos.
