One of the things at the top of my best friend and I’s bucket list has always been to attend a lantern festival. Every photo, every movie, it just always looked like the most magical moment. Last week, we got to experience it in person. We headed out to the old speedway in Imperial, PA and parked ourselves on the rocky dirt ground. We roasted s’mores and shared a fire pit with the most precious family whose two daughters were dressed like Rapunzel from Tangled.

If you can attend a lantern lighting, I will aggressively shout my recommendation at you until you arrive. It was beyond magical; so heartwarming and happy and wonderful. And just so perfect.
